Charming Magazine recalls that Tiwa Savage had in an interview disclosed that someone was blackmailing her with a sex tape of her and the man she’s currently dating.
She, on the other hand, refused to be blackmailed for something she considered natural.
Tiwa Savage stated that her partner inadvertently released the sex footage but erased it minutes afterwards.
This elicited varied reactions online, with some admirers criticizing her of being reckless and others suggesting that her sex tape reveal was a publicity gimmick.
Tiwa Savage responded to the backlash on her Instagram story, saying individuals who made such remarks are upset that she was able to control the narrative and not allow the revelation of the sex tape ruin her.
Her post read: “You hated how I was able to control the narrative and get ahead of a story before it consumed me and how I was able to joke on stage about something you thought will destroy me and make me ashamed .”
