“Sisi Quadri Had No Wife or Biological Children” — Journalist Abere Makes Controversial Claims About Late Actor
Nigerian journalist Abere has made controversial claims about the private life and sexuality of late Nollywood actor Sisi Quadri, alleging that the actor was gay, never married a woman and had no biological children.
The journalist reportedly made the claims during a discussion about the late actor, whose memorable comic performances in Yoruba movies made him a familiar face in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
When asked whether Sisi Quadri had biological children, Abere responded that the actor did not have any and allegedly never had a wife.
He further claimed that the actor’s frequent portrayal of female characters in movies reflected aspects of his private life, adding that the late entertainer admired men more than women.
Abere also alleged that children often presented as Sisi Quadri’s were actually children of his siblings.
In another controversial revelation, the journalist claimed that the actor had several male partners, whom he referred to as husbands, but maintained that only people close to the deceased knew about his alleged relationships.
Sisi Quadri, who was widely recognised for his distinctive comic roles and memorable performances in Yoruba films, died in March 2024.
However, the claims about his sexuality, marital status and family life remain allegations made by the journalist and have not been independently verified.
