Media personality Ifedayo has sparked a heated conversation online after making a bold claim about love, marriage and financial provision in relationships.
Ifedayo, who shared her views on X, argued that some women may not genuinely love their husbands but are instead attached to the financial security and lifestyle their husbands provide.
According to her, a woman’s attitude towards her husband may change when his financial circumstances change and he can no longer provide at the level she has become accustomed to.
“Some of you don’t love your husbands. You love the provision. The moment he can no longer provide, he’s no longer worthy of your love, patience or respect,” she wrote.
She went further to compare such women to men who only value their wives based on physical appearance and domestic abilities.
“You’re no better than the man who only loves his wife while she’s young, beautiful and can cook,” she added.
