Davido’s N250m donation to orphanages

On November 17, 2021, David requested that his friends and followers each give N1 million to him in honor of his birthday.

Despite the fact that he stated that the objective was to raise N100 million, the musician got almost N53 million in financial transfers in less than an hour.

Over N200m was given to the musician by his pals in three days. Adding N50 million of his own money, the musician chose to give back to society by donating N250 million to orphans around Nigeria.

He also formed a five-person committee to oversee the allocation of the monies.
