Hon. Cyril Fasuyi (DG BAO Campaign Organisation and APC Ekiti North Senatorial Zone Candidate) was in London recently on a private visit.
He seized the opportunity to hold a private meeting with Mr. Tokunbo Layokun, APC Stewart & DG Team BAFEM Diaspora, to intimate him on his Political ambition and the actualisation of the ‘Ido Agenda’.
Mr Layokun gave Hon. Fasuyi his unflinching support, whilst acknowledging him for being a political force who has contributed immensely to the development of Ido Ekiti and charitable causes to all and sundry not only within the Town, Zone but the State as a whole. He further stated that he was of the firm believe that Hon. Fasuyi would not only be a great ambassador of Ido Ekiti, but would excel at the task of the Job.
In the same vein, Hon. Cyril Fasuyi was hosted on 9th July, 2022, by caucus members of the APC Ekiti State UK Chapter led by the Chairman Mr. A.J. Idowu, Prince Tunji Olofinluyi, Dr. David Orimaye and Mr. Tokunbo Layokun.
Members felicitated with the DG and the incoming Governor Mr. Abayomi Oyebanji, for their hard work and success at the Gubernatorial Election held on 18th June 2022, and had the opportunity of discussing areas of concern which include neglect of Ekiti Diasporans in policy decisions and contribution to the state economic development.
After a healthy deliberation, Hon. Cyril Fasuyi thanked members for their dedication, loyalty to the party and their support to the BAO Campaign. He emphasised the need to build a solid and vibrant Diasporic Union (Ekiti Parapo UK), that would work cordially with the State Governor via the office of the SSA Diaspora, thereby building a strong governmental link which would ensure the State becomes a ‘Knowledge Based Centre’ and ‘Economic Development Hub’ for the Nigeria South West Region; through Knowledge Transfer, Trade and Investment.
The Chairman thanked the DG for finding time out of his busy schedule to rub minds with members, assured him of APC Ekiti State UK Chapter’s Support and handed over an official congratulatory letter for the incoming State Governor HE. Abayomi Oyebanji, to Hon. Cyril Fasuyi (DG BAO Campaign Organisation).
