Tobechukwu Okoye and Opeyemi Samuel Ishmael have been ousted as the seventh and eighth competitors from the 2021 Gulder Ultimate Search (GUS) respectively.

Following Irin and Iroko clan’s poor performance throughout the day’s job, the couple were booted off the survival reality program on Saturday night after a stressful solo challenge at the location of the talking drum.

This comes after Orevaoghene Oboh and Iniabasi Eme Umoren were evicted as the sixth and fifth contestants, respectively, around the same time Emmanuel Ifeanyi Nnebe was.

The trio of Olayinka Omoya, Mfon Mikel, and Gerald Odeka were earlier also sent packing from the survival show on November 1.

With the most recent elimination, there are now just ten participants remaining in the running for the show’s N50 million grand prize.

After weeks of competing as clans, candidates in the current Gulder Ultimate Search will begin competing as individuals today. In the 11th episode, anchor Toke Makinwa informed them.

There is, however, a catch. A new element, boomerang, is introduced, according to Toke Makinwa. The council of elders has placed boomerangs around the bush. These boomerangs represent a second chance for the participants, and anyone who discovers them must report them to the location of the talking drum.

It also allows them to be voted back into the show if they are evicted. Osasere of the Amo Clan is the first to find the boomerang, followed by Estima and Damola of Irin and Amo clan respectively.
