The ex-wife of Nigerian comedian Princewill has publicly accused him of repeated domestic violence during their marriage, claiming she lived in fear before the relationship eventually ended.
In a lengthy video shared online, she said she had remained silent for a long time because of fear, anxiety, and a desire to move on with her life. However, she decided to speak after what she described as false narratives surrounding the collapse of their marriage began circulating on social media.
Responding to allegations that she was unfaithful during the marriage, she firmly denied the claims, insisting that infidelity was never listed as a ground for their divorce. According to her, the marriage broke down because of repeated physical abuse she allegedly suffered and her ex-husband’s alleged infidelity.
She further claimed that the alleged incidents of domestic violence were reported to the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA), where both parties later participated in mediation before eventually separating.

Addressing a viral video showing an altercation between Princewill and her cousin, she explained that her cousin had been staying with her to help care for her and her children while she recovered after childbirth. She alleged that the confrontation occurred after Princewill came to the house despite their separation, leading to an argument that escalated.
The mother of two also disclosed that she and one of her children are currently undergoing therapy as they continue to recover from the emotional impact of the events.
She further alleged that she has received threats following the public attention surrounding the matter and appealed to the public to hold those she identified accountable should anything happen to her or members of her family.
As of the time of this report, Princewill has not publicly responded to the latest allegations made by his ex-wife. The claims remain allegations, and no court has made findings on the matters raised.
