HURIWA, the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, has labeled the ruling party as a terrorist political party, Charmingpro reports.
According to the group, the time has come for all patriotic Nigerians to vote against the ruling party in the 2023 presidential election.
This follows the announcement of Kashim Shettima as the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s running mate.
According to HURIWA, Shettima is nothing more than a hardcore Islamist and hater of Christians, calling the choice irresponsible, irrational, unpatriotic, and unconstitutional, and demonstrating that Islamists and terrorists of the BOKO HARAM and ISWAP genres actively hijacked APC.
HURIWA told Nigerians that voting for the APC is a vote for the country’s disintegration, and that they must now choose between the Labour Party, LP, and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
HURIWA stated that the current Muslim-Muslim government in Kaduna State has demonstrated that such a system does not favor Christians.
According to HURIWA, Tinubu’s choice amounts to discrimination against non-Muslims and violates some provisions of the 1999 Constitution as amended.
