Reactions have been mixed as Nigerian musician David Adeleke, best known by his stage name Davido, did not attend the funeral of renowned photographer Fortune.
Fortunate Umunname Peter also known as Fortune until his death was Davido’s official photographer. He died on September 21, while on a photoshoot. He reportedly drowned to death.
It is no longer news that Davido has lost at least 5 aides/friends over the years. Many have questioned why this is happening, with some social media users requesting spiritual deliverance for the 30BG.
Fortune’s death came as a shock to many and was heartbreaking for all his close companions and even Davido.
Davido has since then taken to his Instagram page and penned lovely notes to mourn the death of the 24-year-old photographer.
However, Fortune has finally been buried after weeks of his demise.
Fortune was buried in Yaba, Lagos, amid weeping, and videos of his funeral began making the rounds on social media on October 6, 2021.
In the video, a small audience came to see the young photographer’s ultimate resting place and to offer their respects.
The crowd includes the family members and loved ones of the deceased and a preacher who described Fortune as a good man who lived a great life.
The video attracted lots of reactions from social media users who mourned the death of the young photographer. But the only strange thing they noticed was Davido’ s obvious absence from the gathering.
