Armed men broke into the home of veteran Nollywood actor Hafiz Oyetoro, aka Saka, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Monday night, Charmingpro reports
A friend of veteran Kayode Soaga revealed this in a statement made available to journalists.
According to Soaga, armed men broke into Saka’s home and demanded N20 million or he would be killed.
“The men broke into his home at about 2am, heavily armed with Pump action guns, matchetes, and demobilized his guards,” according to the statement.
“Three other houses on the street were robbed with even greater devastation.” They smashed the Burglary proof and confronted him, demanding N20 million or his life and threatening to kill him.
“However, he pleaded, and they went down to N3m, but the actor said he didn’t have.”
He went on to say that they tortured the actor and took all of his Android phones, iPhones, laptops, and all of his cash and ATM cards.
“These men came with POS machines to empty money from accounts.”
“We thank Almighty GOD for his life because he is doing well now,” the statement said.
