Police arrest Lagos resident for stabbing lottery manager to death

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested Kamalideen Raji on suspicion of fatally stabbing a man in Badagry, Charmingpro reports

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, Public Relations Officer, announced the arrest in a statement on Tuesday.

Raji is accused of murdering the manager of a lottery center after a disagreement.

Officers from the Command’s Area K apprehended the 35-year-old resident.

According to police, he stabbed the victim “twice in the neck over an argument about unpaid debts.”

The manager was rushed to Badagry General Hospital, where he died.

Abiodun Alabi, Commissioner of Police, has ordered that the case be transferred to the Criminal Investigations Department for further investigation and prosecution.
