Farooq Oreagba once more proves he's the king of Ojude Oba

Farooq Oreagba has once again stolen the spotlight at the 2025 Ojude Oba.

The magnetic cancer survivor who became a viral social media sensation with ladies drooling over him at the 2024 Ojude Oba Festival, has once again stolen the spotlight at this year’s edition with his signature blend of elegance, style and swagger.

The horse rider who first captivated the public last year with his grand entrance on horseback in a vibrant green agbada and coral beads, returned in 2025 with the same effortless charm that earned him the unofficial title of “King of Steeze.” Once again mounted on a horse, his fashion-forward appearance was a powerful statement of confidence, cultural pride, and individuality.

Charming recalls that social media erupted as images of his 2025 appearance flooded timelines, with fans praising his bold style and commanding presence. “He’s not just attending — he’s owning it,” one user wrote. “Farooq Oreagba remains the man of the moment.”

Born in July 1966 in Ijebu-Ode, Oreagba is more than a fashion icon. A seasoned businessman and Managing Director of NG Clearing Limited, he is also a cancer warrior. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma and carcinoma in 2014, he achieved full remission in 2015 and was declared cancer-free in 2017.

An alumnus of Coventry University and the University of East London, Oreagba has built a respected career in the financial sector, including serving on the Derivatives Product Advisory Committee of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

In recognition of his cultural influence, the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) named him an Honorary Cultural Ambassador. NCAC Director-General, Obi Asika, hailed him as “a true Nigerian original” during the award presentation.

With his enduring poise, resilience, and unmistakable flair, Farooq Oreagba has once again proven that style is not just what you wear, it’s how you carry your story.
