Faisal Maina, the son of Abdulrasheed Maina, the former Chairman of the Pension Reform Taskforce Team, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison.
On Thursday, Faisal was found guilty by a Federal High Court in Abuja.
In his decision, Justice Okon Abang convicted Faisal guilty on three counts of money laundering.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, filed the accusations against Faisal.
Faisal is being tried with his father.
