Drake

Drake is expanding his scent empire with the debut of his first eau de parfum, Summer Mink, under his fragrance label, Better World Fragrance House. The launch marks a bold new direction for the brand, which first gained attention with its luxurious candles and signature perfume oil, Carby Musk.

Dropping this Friday, Summer Mink promises a more elevated olfactory experience. Priced at $148, the fragrance will soon be available across all Ulta Beauty locations and online, bringing a touch of the artist’s vision to a wider audience.

What started as a personal scent collaboration between Drake and perfumer Michael Carby has grown into a full-fledged fragrance brand. With a licensing partnership formed with Parlux in 2023, Better World Fragrance House has steadily expanded its reach into retail. Now, with Summer Mink, the brand steps into new territory with confidence.

“This new chapter really reflects Drake’s evolving vision,” said Lori Singer, president of Parlux. “He imagined Carby Musk as a deeply personal scent in oil form, but Summer Mink is about making a statement—something bold and memorable.”

The scent itself plays on contrast and complexity, a theme central to the brand’s identity. It opens with fresh notes of Italian citrus and sage, flows into floral jasmine sambac, and settles into an inviting blend of vetiver and creamy musk.

Industry insiders are already buzzing, with sales projections estimating over $60 million in the first year alone.

Whether you’re a fan of Drake or simply in the market for a new signature scent, Summer Mink is shaping up to be a fragrance launch worth watching.
