Nasir El-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna State, boasted that a proposed street march will not draw more than 200 supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, Charmingpro reports

El-Rufai made the statement on Twitter in response to a tweet from @ZamarOmar, who wrote, “Kaduna Two Million March for Peter Obi.”

The governor appeared to mock the Igbos, referring to them as “imports” who cannot open their businesses on Mondays.

“In Kaduna?” tweeted El-Rufai. Twitter in Kaduna? – I hope you get 200 people out on the streets, including those “imports” who can’t open their stores on Mondays and arrived on an overnight bus last night!

“I’m just laffing, wallahi tallahi!!”

There have already been street marches for Obi, with large crowds recorded in Nasarawa and Calabar.
