You’ve to beg to survive in Sudan – Repatriated Nigerian laments

One of the Nigerians who returned from Sudan described her ordeal while looking for greener pastures, Charmingpro reports

The thirteen returnees arrived at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport on Tuesday around 3:00 p.m. on an Ethiopian Airlines flight number ET343.

Five female adults and eight children (three female and five male) from Jigawa and Kano were among them.

Amina Ibrahim, 60, a mother of four from Kano State, said she traveled to Sudan in search of greener pastures.

“I was a businesswoman before I left Nigeria with N8 million in debt.”

“I went to Sudan in search of greener pastures, hoping to earn enough money to repay them and continue with my business.”

“In Sudan, you have to beg before you can eat.” “I really suffered,” Ibrahim admitted.
