Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), mocked the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party on Tuesday ahead of the governorship election in Osun State, Charmingpro reports

Tinubu, speaking to a large crowd of APC supporters at a campaign rally in Osogbo, compared the PDP and Labour Party to mushroom parties that would work until death.

Governor Gboyega Oyetola will represent the APC, while Ademola Adeleke and former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Lasun Yusuf, will represent the PDP and LP, respectively, in the Saturday governorship election.

The Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, the vice-presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima, and the quartet of governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi), and Babagana Zulum (Borno) were also present.

Tinubu said in his speech that the PDP and LP had no chance of winning the election.

He urged Osun residents to think about their future and vote for the APC.

“I request that you do the same thing you did in Ekiti,” he said. Bring your PVCs and vote en masse for the APC.

“The ballot is now in your hands. Be extremely cautious. Keep an eye out. You are not doing it in vain.

“Consider your children and vote accordingly so that you can see the future.” Come out in force. Don’t worry about the PDP and other mushroom parties, such as Labour; they’ll work until they die. God will not make you slaves.
