Two Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHED) employees were attacked while attempting to disconnect defaulters’ power lines in Rumuewhara, Port Harcourt, Charmingpro reports.

 

A video circulated online shows two PHED officials, one on top of a ladder disconnecting power lines and the other at the bottom.

 

 

Suddenly, locals attacked the PHED official at the bottom of the ladder, throwing him to the ground and landing blows on him.

 

 

During this time, a woman approaches the ladder and pulls it, causing the PHED official on top of it to fall several feet to the ground.

 

On Twitter, a video of the attack has gone viral.
