Festus Keyamo, Minister of State for Labour and Employment, has been urged to continue promoting the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, over the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar, Charmingpro reports
According to Deji Adeyanju, an Abuja-based activist, Keyamo’s decision to promote Obi ahead of Atiku will further divide the opposition.
Adeyanju made the remark while criticizing Dino Melaye’s remark about Keyamo.
Keyamo previously stated that the former Anambra State governor was more capable than Atiku.
Melaye, enraged by Keyamo’s remark, claimed the Minister lacked the moral fortitude to attack Atiku.
Melaye challenged the minister to a debate, vowing to shatter him (Keyamo).
In response, Adeyanju tweeted: “If I’m Keyamo, I’ll keep saying Obi is more competent than Atiku to annoy Dino and even continue to promote Peter.”
“The more APC promotes LP, the more the opposition is divided.” They may have plans to fund LP, particularly in SE. Politics is very simple to grasp.
“Dino is furious.” In that interview, Keyamo stated that Obi is more competent than Atiku. As I stated yesterday, continuing to promote Peter Obi is a good strategy for the APC. In fact, it’s a brilliant strategy. It’s a win-win situation for the APC.”
