The Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has spoken out about his choice of Senator Yusuf Datti Baba Ahmed as his running mate in the 2023 presidential election, Charmingpro reports.
Obi revealed in an interview with Arise TV that they’ve spoken to a lot of people.
The presidential candidate, who has not confirmed or denied that Datti is his running mate, has also stated that he wants a younger person so that the age of governance can be reduced and the recycling of old leaders can be stopped.
He reiterated that he requires competence and is assembling a team capable of telling him when he’s wrong without seeking favor.
