No fewer than three people have reportedly lost their lives in a fire incident that occurred in Ibadan.
It was gathered that the incident occured at Ori Eru, Idikan in Ibadan North West Local Government Area.
Our correspondent gathered that the incident occured around 3.46pm on Friday.
It was learnt that the three people that died in the incident are a husband, wife and their grandchild.
General Manager of Oyo State Fire Service, Mr. Yemi Akinyinka, confirmed the development.
Akinyinka, in a statement made available to DAILY POST, added that five people were rescued from the inferno.
Disclosing that the agency evacuated three bodies, he however noted that only the doctors can confirm anyone dead.
“We evacuated three bodies. But, you know that only the doctors can confirm anyone dead.
“The unfortunate incident was reported to our agency at exactly 03:46hrs on Friday 20th December, 2024
