Festus Keyamo, Minister of State for Labour and Employment, has stated that he has been sacrificing for Nigeria since his appointment, Charmingpro reports

Keyamo stated that he has been utilizing his personal resources since his appointment as minister.

The Minister stated that his ministry has not provided him with a car to carry out his duties since he was appointed minister.

The minister stated in a signed statement that his appointment as spokesman for the All Progressives Congress, APC, and presidential campaign council has no bearing on his performance as minister.

“Being a director in a campaign council is like any other party activity,” the statement says in part. Because I am a minister, they want to deny me my fundamental human right to freedom of association.

“There is no competing interest.” I don’t see any. Am I campaigning with public funds? Absolutely not. We have an APC campaign office, and my private chambers are better equipped than my minister’s office.

“Even my car for media interviews is not a ministry vehicle.” The ministry has not provided a single car for my personal use since I became a minister. I’ve been sacrificing my personal vehicles and resources for the sake of the country.”
