One of the saddest news reaching “Precious Eze’s Blog” has it that one of the pillars of the entertainment industry in Nigeria and the CEO of the prestigious AMAA Awards, Peace Anyiam-Osigwe is dead.

As of the time of filing this report, it was unclear what happened because everyone close to her refused to answer their calls, but a former President of the Association of Movie Producers answered and told us the story is true, as confirmed by Zik Zulu Okafor.

Charmingpro learned that she was in a coma at St. Nicolas Hospital before passing away.

Auntie Peace’s contributions to the industry cannot be overstated, and she will be remembered as one of those who shaped the face of the new Nollywood.

May Auntie Peace’s soul rest in the hope of resurrection.

Obi Emelonye, an award-winning producer, had posted on his social media about her death, despite the family’s efforts to keep the information private.

Peace Anyiam-Osigwe was the CEO of the African Movie Academy Awards, AMAA, as well as the President of the Association of Movie Producers, AMP, and one of Nollywood’s most prominent figures.
