Seun Ojo, a 30-year-old school dropout who was arrested for shooting his prostitute girlfriend Enny in Owo, Ondo state, has explained his actions, Charmingpro reportsÂ
Seun was paraded alongside 45 other suspects arrested by the state security outfit, codenamed Amotekun, for various criminal offences ranging from kidnapping, armed robbery, stealing, and snatching of motorbikes, among others.
Seun told reporters that he shot his girlfriend at close range because she ignored him and paid attention to other men.
“My girlfriend’s name is Enny, and she’s a prostitute who frequents Ikare junction in Owo.” I shot her after noticing that she pays more attention to other men than to me. We’ve been having problems for quite some time. That day, she did exactly what I warned her not to do, and I became enraged and shot her. But she did not perish. I found out she was in the hospital.
I’m not a cultist, and I’ve never shot anyone before. My father, who is a hunter, owns the gun I used against her. My father does hunt and kill animals with a gun.”
Chief Adeleye, the commander of Amotekun, told reporters that the woman died as a result of the gunshot wound.
