The arsonists stormed the office located at the council’s headquarters in Ogurute on Sunday night, according to Charmingpro

At press time, attempts to reach the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Daniel Ndukwe, were futile.

However, according to our source, the state fire department was unable to put out the fire until the entire building was demolished.

It was also learned that parts of the local government had recently been targeted by unidentified gunmen wreaking havoc in the southeastern region.

Remember that the state government recently imposed a curfew from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and banned commercial motorcyclists in the LGAs of Igboeze North and Igboeze South.
