In Ondo State, a police officer was killed after gunmen stormed the Okuta Elerinla Police Division, Charmingpro reports 

According to the Track News, the gunmen stormed the station on Monday around 1:00 a.m. and caught the officers on duty off guard.

The gunmen’s mission has yet to be determined.

During the attack, a police officer named Boluwaji Temenu, with the registration number AP. 207538, was killed.

Confirming the attack, the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Funmilayo Odunlami, revealed that officers at the station were able to repel it.

Odunlami went on to say that the Commissioner of Police, Oyeyemi Oyediran, had directed the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, to take over the case immediately.
