On Sunday, a fire broke out at Rabsih Imec Nigeria Limited, a renowned plant in Iwo town, Iwo Local Government Area, Osun State.
According to eyewitnesses, the inferno began in the morning and wreaked havoc on the facility.
Because of the haste of putting out the fire, the eyewitness also verified to reporters that the source of the fire could not be determined.
He stated that the fire was put out by the joint efforts of the Osun State Fire Service, Iwo, and concerned citizens, but not before causing significant damage to the plant and equipment.
Efforts to get both the Spokespersons of the Osun State and Federal Fire Services to comment on the incident proved abortive at press time.
Also, efforts to get the owner of the factory to speak with this medium proved futile.
