The National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) has ended their nationwide strike, Charmingpro reportsÂ
The decision came after an emergency meeting with Labour and Employment Minister Chris Ngige on Wednesday.
Olajide Oshundun, the minister’s spokesman, announced that Ngige intervened in the strike.
Joe Ajaero, Secretary General of the NUEE, assured that power would be restored across the country tonight.
Earlier today, workers shut down all Transmission Companies of Nigeria (TCN) offices.
