Sixteen people were arrested in Ilorin, Kwara State, by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) operatives for alleged cybercrime and possession of fraudulent funds, Charmingpro reports

According to a statement issued by the commission’s spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, on Friday, they were arrested on Thursday as a result of credible intelligence gathered by the commission.

Items recovered from them included eight exotic cars, phones, and laptop computers, according to the statement.

 

Suleiman Abduqudrib Salati, Nurudeen Ibrahim, Boluwasefe Oyinloye, Bashir Azeez, Abduquodri Ibrahim, Raji Roqeeb, Tobiloba Raihan, and Busari Mohammed are among the suspects, who include two siblings Ahmed Ismail and Toheeb Ismail.

Olaoye Kolade, Bello Muhammed, Onime Bright, Adebayo Bolaji, Abdulqudus Zakariya, and Adeleke Hassan are among the others.

“As soon as the investigations are completed, the suspects will be charged in court,” the statement added.
