On Friday, President Muhammadu Buhari sent messages of congratulations to two All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains, Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transportation, and Alhaji Nasiru Haladu Danu, a reputable businessman, on the conferment of chieftaincy titles on them by the Daura Emirate Council tomorrow, Saturday.
Buhari stated that bestowing the title “Dan Amana” (the trustworthy one) on Amaechi demonstrates a strong commitment to the harmonious interaction amongst the nation’s varied cultures.
Danu is getting turbaned as Daura’s Tafida Babba.
Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant (Media and Publicity), revealed this in a statement.
The President commended Ameachi “for working with enormous energy to make the CHANGE we promised Nigerians a reality,” noting that “the change we are witnessing in the transport sector is an extraordinary legacy.”
Buhari will not be at the event on Saturday but has designated a delegation of three, made up of the Ministers of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, Water Resources, Eng Sulaiman Adamu, and Shehu to represent him.
