President Muhammadu Buhari attended the inauguration of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, abbreviated as NNPC LTD  Charmingpro reports

Some top government officials are expected to attend the event in Abuja on Tuesday.

The unveiling was attended by Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources Timipre Sylva, and NNPC Group Managing Director Mele Kyari, among other top oil and gas stakeholders.

The change from NNPC Group to NNPC Limited is mandated by the Petroleum Industry Act.

Under the Company and Allied Matters Act, NNPC Limited will operate as a commercial and profit-oriented organization (CAMA)
