There has been confirmed reports that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Acting Chairman, Ibrahim Magu, was arrested today Monday 7 July, 2020, by the Department of State Services at the Wuse II office of the DSS. At the moment, Magu is with officials at the DSS Headquarters on Aso Drive, undergoing interrogation.

In a 2016 Report, The DSS revealed that Ibrahim Magu was living in a N40m mansion.

“The Police Service Commission (PSC) in December 2010, found Magu guilty of action prejudicial to state security – withholding of EFCC files, sabotage, unauthorised removal of EFCC files and acts unbecoming of a police officer, and awarded him severe reprimand as punishment”.
