France Football, the award’s organizers, confirmed this today on their website.
Remember that Lionel Messi, who currently plays for PSG, won the Ballon d’Or last year after defeating Robert Lewandowski, Jorginho, and Karim Benzema.
The nominees for this year’s Ballon d’Or are as follows:
