Kunle Afolayan and his KAP productions crew make films that are interesting, unusual, and fascinating to watch. He is one of those directors whose films ‘travel worldwide’ and win a slew of awards along the way, thanks to his attention to detail and ambition to achieve quality.
This film genius will deliver another feature film to his audience in 2022. In an Instagram post, he alluded to this, writing:
“We are on a quest to make another history.”
This was joined by a few of photos of him with other individuals on set, all of which showed him traveling from one spot to another.
Kunle Afolayan also hinted at a title for the film in the post, ‘Anikulapo The Movie.’
The news about the creation of ‘Anikulapo The Movie’ will, however, continue to spread as fans of the director await the release of his next Netflix Original, ‘A Naija Christmas.’
Kunle Afolayan’s ‘A Naija Christmas’ will be his second Netflix release this year; his first, a cinematic adaptation of Sefi Atta’s ‘Swallow,’ was released to rave acclaim in October.
The film ‘A Naija Christmas’ stars Rachel Oniga, Kunle Remi, Efa Iwara, and Alvin Abayomi. It will be released on Netflix on December 16, and many of his fans are looking forward to it.
There is no specific release date for ‘Anikulapo The Movie,’ but production is slated to begin in Oyo State in January 2022.
