Popular Nigerian restaurateur and businesswoman Blessing Osom, better known as Lady Golfer, remains in detention in Dubai following her arrest over alleged substance-related offences.
Fresh information indicates that Lady Golfer is still being held by authorities.
According to Stella Dimoko Korkus, all others arrested during the same raid, including a wealthy associate identified as Emeka, have been released, leaving Lady Golfer as the only one still in custody.
Reports suggest that the arrests were made during a party held at a rented apartment, where authorities allegedly found illegal substances. Sources close to the situation insist that Lady Golfer neither drinks nor uses any substance, sparking speculation that she may have been wrongfully implicated.
A source quoted by journalist Stella Dimoko Korkus revealed that Lady Golfer’s continued detention is tied to the discovery of the said substance in the rented property. It was also gathered that she has not secured legal representation, as lawyers reportedly demand exorbitant fees to take on her case.
Insiders fear the matter might be more serious than initially portrayed, as her prolonged detention raises concerns among friends and associates back home.
