Jennifer Lopez was refused entry into a Chanel store at Istinye Park in Istanbul after security ‘failed to recognise her’
After the singer, 56, was denied entry at the prestige boutique she went next door and ‘spent thousands of dollars’ during a three-hour shopping spree.
She had been wandering around a shopping centre in the Turkish city and attempted to enter a Chanel store before a guard told her ‘We’re full’.
Unfazed by the snub, Jennifer said ‘Okay, no problem’, before walking into a different store.
The singer and actress was later welcomed into Celine and Beymen where she splashed the cash, according to Turkish media.
Pictures spot the actress in a glamorous pink co-ord and chunky stylish sunglasses as she was surrounded by her security team.
A music insider told the outlet: ‘Jennifer is obviously massively successful and talented but it’s been hard for her to find a label who she is on the same page with’.
Despite being refused entry, Chanel later changed their mind after realising who she was and invited her back to store, which JLo declined.
