"I didn't mock Biola Bayo over her failed marriage" - Laide Bakare cries out

Popular actress, Laide Bakare, has cried out after she was accused of mocking colleague, Biola Bayo over her failed marriage.

Charming recalls that Biola Bayo recently took to her verified Instagram page to wish her ex-husband a happy birthday. In same post, she revealed that they’re now estranged and no longer together.

That same say, Laide Bakare shared a video of herself dancing with a seemingly cryptic message, with many social media users thinking it was a jibe at Biola and her failed marriage.

Laide Bakare captioned her video:

“All of us will eat breakfast. Asiko lo ma ya to. Good morning people,”

However, Bakare has come forward to deny any wrongdoing, stating it was just a coincidence and expressing her support for Bayo.

She attributed the negative reactions to “bad commenters and trolls” and wished Bayo well, describing her as “my own sister.”

She wrote:

“Bad commenters and trolls associations, something must be wrong with you.

“Please let us all be guided. It is still June 5th here in California to be precise. I can never shade my own sister Biola Bayo. My prayers are with you. I didn’t get any updates. I was busy with my daughter’s graduation. Trolls are evil.”
