2023 presidency: Kwankwaso’s NNPP calls for Atiku, Tinubu’s disqualification

The Kaduna State chapter of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, has demanded that the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar, be disqualified from running in the 2023 election, Charmingpro reports

Sani Litti, the Kaduna State Chairman of the NNPP, has urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to disqualify Tinubu and Atiku for alleged financial crimes committed during their respective presidential primaries.

Litti said on Monday that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Department of State Services should arrest Tinubu and Atiku (DSS).

“We call on INEC to disqualify Atiku Abubakar and Bola Ahmed Tinubu from running for president in 2023, as well as the EFCC, Police, and DSS to arrest them and all other actors who participated in the convention,” he said.

“We believe that if either of these two candidates wins the election next year, the country will descend into deeper corruption and financial crimes because the process that produced them is corrupt.”
