The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Zamfara, has called on the Muslim faithful in the state to use the Ramadan period to pray fervently for divine intervention to restore peace in the entire state.

The chairman of the state APC, Tukur Umar Danfulani said, “We urge all Muslims in the state to utilize this sacred month for recommitting to their faith and strengthening their bond with the Almighty Allah by engaging in continuous reading and comprehension of the Holy Qur’an and adhering closely to the teachings and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad”, he added.

This was contained in a statement issued by the state publicity secretary of the party, Yusuf Idris Gusau.

‘Let us exemplify kindness towards our neighbours and extend assistance to the less fortunate during the fasting period”.

“Furthermore, let us promote the practice of giving alms (Sadaka) and consistently pray for enhanced peace, security, and national advancement.”

“During Ramadan, let us offer special prayers for Allah’s intervention in alleviating the prevailing hardships, as Ramadan is a month abundant with Allah’s blessings.”

“We applaud our party leaders for their efforts in providing relief, including food and other essentials, to the citizens, which undoubtedly mitigates hardship in the state. We trust they will continue in this endeavour.”

“May Allah accept all our prayers and deeds throughout the Holy Month and beyond.”
