Victor Edet, who has previously made headlines for criticizing Mercy Chinwo, took to Facebook to condemn her once more following news of her engagement.

He captioned a photo of Mercy and her fiance, “CONGRATULATIONS to you Mercy.” Meanwhile, using a ring for an engagement or wedding is completely inappropriate and unacceptable. The Bible forbids Christians from wearing rings and jewelry, as stated in Isaiah:3-16-26.

“Wearing Make-Up is a Sin in and of itself.” According to Jeremiah:4-30, make-up is for spoilt people (prostitutes), and no spoilt person will enter the kingdom of Heaven.”
