Update: I have been forced to rethink my decisions and life path – Nigerian woman, Chidera Onwuzuruike opens up after suicide attempt

A young Nigerian woman, Chidera Onwuzuruike, has opened for the first time after she attempted suicide, Charmingpro reports.

Recall that Chidera, who is said to be battling depression, caused panic among her friends three weeks ago after she posted suicide notes on Facebook.

Taking to Facebook on Friday, October 21, she thanked well meaning Nigerians whose timely intervention saved her life.

The English/Communication Art graduate admitted to have made grave mistakes in the past and apologised to people she hurt.

“I express my unreserved thanks to well meaning Nigerians who acted timely, in God’s will, to save my life,” she wrote.

I am beyond every reasonable doubt, sorry for my lack of hindsight to see beyond that scarring moment.

Will this be part of my story? Yes. Will things change? Yes. Do I expect self- pity? No.

In the few weeks, I have been forced to rethink about my decisions and life path. I realized that I have made grave mistakes in the past and I have hurt people (of which I am very sorry and willing to make amends) and broken promises.

I am human and I have expectations. Just as you do. I am very sorry and I hope this gives you a cause to believe in me. I can still do all things through Christ that strengthens me (daily).

Good things have stories too. Thank you for your sustained interest and readership. God bless us all. Love, CHIDERA Onwuzuruike.
