Nigeria’s national grid has collapsed again.

This is the third time this will happen in just one week.

The latest collapse occurred early Saturday morning, with many states reporting total blackouts.

DAILY POST obtained data from the Nigerian System Operator’s portal (niggrid.org) and it revealed that the grid recorded zero megawatts (MW) as of 9.20am today.

This latest failure comes on the heels of two other collapses earlier in the week, further straining the already fragile power system.
