Ebun-Olu Adegoruwa, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, has condemned the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential flag bearer, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for running a Muslim-Muslim ticket, Charmingpro reports.
Adegoruwa said in a statement on Sunday that Tinubu and his party’s latest move is insensitive and a poor choice in several ways.
“Nigerians, whether Muslims, Christians, or Traditionalists, should vote against APC in 2023 because a Muslim-Muslim ticket in today’s Nigeria is fuel for Boko Haram, an incentive for ISWAP, and a call for terrorism to thrive more,” he said.
“Unless, of course, those carrying the ticket are also complicit.” There is no more effective way to offend our sensibilities. I hope it’s not true.”

Recall that Tinubu has chosen former Borno State Governor Kashim Shetima as his running mate for the presidential election scheduled for 2023.
The decision comes despite the Christian Association of Nigerians CAN’s repeated warnings against candidates with the same religious background running for office.
