President Bola Tinubu met with King Charles III at Buckingham Palace, in the United Kingdom, UK, on Wednesday.

Tinubu’s media aide, Bayo Onanuga confirmed this in a statement he posted on his verified X handle on Thursday.

He wrote, “President Tinubu visits King Charles in London. They first met in Dubai last November on the side of the COP 28 Climate Summit.”

Similarly, Tinubu’ Special Assistant on Social Media, Dada Olusegun confirmed the meeting, stating that the parley was aimed at improving diplomatic ties between Nigeria and the UK.

On his official X handle, Dada wrote, “The significant meeting highlighted the ongoing diplomatic ties and partnership between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.”
