President Bola Tinubu has appointed board chairpersons and Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) for 42 federal organizations and a secretary to the board of the Civil Defence, Immigration, and Prisons Services.
A statement issued on Friday by the President’s media aide, Bayo Onanuga, said Tinubu also appointed a new managing director for the Nigerian Railway Corporation and a director-general for the National Board for Technology Incubation, NBTI.
According to the statement, Tinubu directed the appointees “not to interfere with the management of the organizations,” emphasizing that their positions are non-executive.
Onanuga added that all the appointments take immediate effect
