The Stephen & Judith Igwe International Education Foundation has commenced the year 2026 with a major empowerment initiative, distributing automobiles to selected youths and farmers across Ebonyi State as part of its ongoing community development efforts.
The empowerment exercise, which took place on January 1, 2026, is part of the Foundation’s Automobiles Empowerment Scheme, aimed at enhancing productivity, easing transportation challenges, and improving the livelihoods of beneficiaries at the grassroots level.

The Foundation, owned by Hon. Stephen Uchenna Igwe and Chief Mrs. Judith Igwe, presented different categories of automobiles to beneficiaries drawn from various communities within the state. The initiative aligns with the Foundation’s broader mission of promoting education, economic empowerment, and sustainable development.
Speaking during the presentation, one of the beneficiaries, Mr. Alo Sunday, a local farmer who received a tricycle, expressed deep gratitude to the founders. He noted that the vehicle would significantly improve his ability to transport farm produce and commute to and from his farm with ease.
Other beneficiaries of the empowerment programme include Fred Mbgada, Nworie Kenneth Emeka, Okechukwu Nwode, Emmanuel, and Chibueze, who also received automobiles to support their respective trades and daily activities.

The Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to continuing impactful interventions that directly address the needs of the people, particularly youths and farmers, while contributing to the socio-economic growth of Ebonyi State.
