A Nigerian cleric, Pastor Adewale Giwa, disclosed on Tuesday that some men of God had jettisoned their callings by reeling out New Year prophecies.
Giwa, the Senior Pastor of the Awaiting the Second Coming of Jesus Christ Ministry, Akure, Ondo State, said that his mandate as a man of God is to spread the gospel and speak truth to power.
According to him, any prophet who cannot see what is wrong in his own country cannot claim to see what is happening in other countries.
He stressed that the ultimate aim of any man of God is to win souls for Christ and to feed people with God’s words.
Speaking on the forthcoming presidential election, Giwa stressed that none of the frontline contenders looked serious about finding solutions to the myriad of challenges confronting the country.
He reiterated that for the country to witness the desired turnaround, there is a need to rewrite the constitution to have a better nation that Nigerians can be proud of
