Media personality Shade Ladipo has issued a public apology to Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage for criticizing her over a leaked s3x tape several years ago
In a candid statement, Ladipo admitted, “I was one of the people who blasted Tiwa Savage when that s3x tape came out. I’ll be honest. I blamed her. I was like, you know what? How can you be over 40? Cause we are mates and you’re still messing around with people like this.”
Reflecting on her past attitude, she added, “In hindsight, I wonder why I was blaming her so hard for something that happened to her.”
Ladipo revealed that listening to Savage’s latest album gave her a deeper understanding of the singer’s pain. “I felt her pain. And I just want to say to you, I love you. I’m sorry!” she said.
This apology marks a notable change in Ladipo’s perspective. Previously, she had expressed skepticism about Savage’s claims that she was blackmailed over the leaked video, even dismissing the incident as a publicity stunt.
