President Tinubu appoints Femi Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff

Femi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, has reportedly been named as President Bola Tinubu’s chief of staff.

According to Leadership Newspaper, at the ongoing meeting between the president and the nation’s security chiefs now taking place at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Gbajabiamila was introduced as the chief of staff to the president.

Gbajabiamila will have to forego being elected to the House of Representatives for a sixth term to represent Surulere 1 Federal Constituency since he had not yet received his certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
