On Monday, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo stated that the only way for Nigeria to win the war against human trafficking and migration is for all stakeholders to work together, Charmingpro reports

Osinbajo made the call during the grand finale of the 2022 UN Day Against Human Trafficking in Abuja.

Human trafficking is a global phenomenon, according to the Vice President, who was represented by Mr Adela Ipaye, Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, Office of the Vice President.

According to him, the President Buhari administration has maintained political will in the fight against human trafficking, and the effort will continue in that direction.

“All organizations providing shelter and homes to trafficked persons must ensure that people are not exploited; we will continue to scale our efforts in the areas of protection, prosecution, and others.”

“We can only win this fight if we work together with a shared vision,” Osinbajo emphasized.
